Wixx is a slot machine from NoLimit City, which reminds us at first glance of one of the most famous slots in online casinos: the classic Starburst from NetEnt. However, in the short time we have learned that NoLimit City slot machines are not always everything as it seems at first sight. This is certainly intended in a positive sense. Whether it is a well done copy or a new independent slot machine you can read below our detailed Wixx report.

Wixx review

Surely the visual similarities with already mentioned NetEnt classic slot are absolutely wanted. But when the game starts after a very short loading time in the browser, you can see that there are still big differences. First and foremost, you immediately notice that there are only 4 reels at Wixx. On these, symbols with three different gemstones and 4 gemstone splinters. However, these are much more detailed than the comparable slot. The graphics are razor sharp and the sound (even if nothing special) has excellent quality. The NoLimit slot offers 81 winning options, which makes it a completely different slot from many diamond slots that we have seen so far.

Except for the settings at the bottom of the screen, the slot almost fills the entire screen. Even if the symbols are already very easy to recognize, they still look very large, especially on mobile phones with a small display, and the details, such as the edges of the gems are still very clearly visible.

The control panel at the bottom of the screen is, as we are used to from NoLimit City, simple and easy to use. With the “+” and “-” keys you can set the bet up or down, in the middle is the big start button, next to which is the Autoplay key and the Speed key (on the right side is the account balance). We are indeed fans of the tidy, clear concept, which can be found at all NoLimit City releases so far.

The minimum per spin is only 10 pens. The maximum bet can be increased to 50 Pounds per spin. The target audience is also clearly defined. NoLimit is aims on conservative players and does not even look for high rollers. As this is a very young company, this is certainly a suitable strategy, as you can create a broad player base.

If you are satisfied with your settings and don’t want to press the start button every few seconds, you can use the Autoplay function. Here you not only have the possibility to let the slot spin independently between 5 and 100 spins, but you can also make further settings, which stop this function if the account balance has reached 75%, 50% or 25%, but also a “stop-win” if, for example, an individual win exceeds a certain amount, or the account balance has been doubled.

Wixx RTP

Wixx slot has RTP equal to 96.61% and medium level of variance.

The slot offers 81 winning options. This means that the traditional paylines are not used. If at least three identical gems appear on three consecutive reels, always counted from the left, a win is granted. The gem splinters are responsible for the low profits. The individual profits are relatively low, but due to the 81 options it rarely remains with just one profitable combination. To make sure you don’t lose the overview, the number of lines you have twisted is displayed on the right of the board when you win.

The red ruby has the highest payout, followed by the yellow topaz and the blue sapphire. In addition, there is another big diamond, which does not have its own winning value, but takes over the function of the joker and can replace all other symbols.

Even if there are no actual extra spins, you can earn profitable re-spins on certain combos.

As you can see, even without actual extra spins there are a lot of features that really make the game interesting.

NoLimit City has proven with Wixx that you can copy a known slot and still get a completely different gameplay. We were positively surprised by this slot machine. Technically at the highest level, it probably meets almost all requirements that can be placed on a more conservative slot.
